Prom is taking over the school and a team of students, led by Teacher Natasha Dragoi and Assistant Principal Patrick Levins, have been working on putting together a magical event. So far, the Prom Committee selected the venue and are working toward decisions about the menu and decorations.

The team began discussions of the year’s theme. Ms. Dragoi says that “We don’t know the exact terminology, but it’s something like Enchanted Forest.”

To gauge how many seniors are planning on attending, the group sent out a “Prom Interest Form” with students being welcome to change their minds as they “always have room for more people.”

According to [source], tickets, which cost $125, will begin to go on sale within the next couple of weeks and will end on May 2, 2022. Ms. Dragoi mentioned that tickets will have to be paid in full at time of purchase.

As this is a Senior-Only event, only seniors at Taft will be allowed to buy tickets. Students who want to bring an outside date or an underclassman will have to fill out a Prom Date Guest Form and pay for their date’s ticket.
