Interested in joining the fire and police academy? During the months of February, March, and April 2018 the Chicago Police and Firefighter Training Academy are having a recruiting event for the Class of 2020.

For interested students you may apply online between February 1st and May 1st, 2018 by 5 p.m. The Chicago Police and Firefighter Training Academy give you an opportunity for a EMT-B Certification, Unarmed Security 20 Hour Certification, and Community Service/Team Building.

A Two year after-school program for students interested in pursuing a career in Public Safety. There is a Hands-on classroom and fitness training with a Chicago Police and Fire CPFTA instructor and gives you an opportunity for a paid summer internship at CPD/CFD if you are selected.  Classes are two days a week from 4:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. at Chicago Police Academy or the Chicago Fire Academy.
